Meet the Principal

I am Tamsen Stokes and this will be the my 2nd year as principal of Brady High School.

This will my 21st year in Jeffco, where I have been a high school English and social studies teacher, a dean of students, a high school assistant principal and middle school principal. I love being in a school where everyone feels safe to learn, grow and explore the world around them. As students are looking toward their future outside of school, I want to make sure they have every opportunity to understand the options they have for a future job and career. 

On my weekends you can usually find me hiking, fishing, gardening or skiing in the winter. I have a lovely and supportive wife, three fun and entertaining teenagers and an adorable pointer-black lab mix named Del who is scared of water and other dogs but doesn't flinch around the lawn mower.

I look forward to meeting everyone over the next few months and I can't wait to see how we can work together to create a fantastic school experience for all.
