Brady Exploration High School graduating seniors and families: this page provides important information regarding the Class of 2024 graduation, including key dates, events and requirements.
Senior Dates 2023-24
- The deadline for students to turn in all work to teachers is May 10, 2024, by 3:45 p.m., to have their name included in the graduation program.
- Students may still walk at graduation if they have met all graduation requirements by noon on May 16, 2024; however, the student's name will not appear in the program.
- Mandatory graduation rehearsal: 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in the Brady High School gym.
- Graduation is 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, in the Bear Creek High School auditorium in Lakewood.
- All graduates need to be at the ceremony by 9 a.m.
Rehearsal
Mandatory graduation rehearsal is 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in the Brady High School gym. All graduates should mark their schedules now, including getting time off from work, and plan to be there.
Brady will supply caps and gowns at no charge for all students to keep. The cap and gown handout will take place in the Brady gym following rehearsal. Graduates may decorate their cap following Jeffco School’s code of conduct.
Diplomas will be distributed at cap and gown handout for those who participate in the ceremony. Graduates who choose not to participate in the ceremony can arrange for pickup at Brady High School once diplomas are available.
Outstanding Student Fees and Fines
For students to receive their diplomas, all fees must be paid. Families who are unsure if their student has outstanding fees either at Brady or a previous school can call Maribel Barron at 303-982-6722.
Families can also view or pay student fines and fees by logging in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Verify the student is listed and then click the green arrow to be taken to a screen to pay.
Graduation Ceremony Information
Brady Exploration High School’s Class of 2024 graduation ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Bear Creek High School Auditorium (south side of the building).
Important: Graduates are to report at 9 a.m. at the south side of the building. Brady staff will direct graduates to the waiting area.
There are no tickets required for this event. Students are welcome to invite as many family members and friends as they would like.
Caps and Gowns

Diplomas
Diplomas will be presented to the graduates after rehearsal. Those who do not attend the ceremony will need to contact Joe. after the graduate exits the stage. The name on the diploma will match what is in Campus Legal names are printed on diplomas and read at graduation.
Ceremony Expectations
Graduation is a Jeffco Public Schools event; therefore, smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises. Please keep the following in mind:
- Confetti will not be allowed in the ceremony.
- Graduation is not meant to be a party; it is a celebration.
- Please dress appropriately.
- Please be respectful to all graduates and attendees.
- Please refrain from using noisemakers during the ceremony.
Parking
Guests should use the south parking lot and enter through the south doors of the building. This will be the most convenient and shortest route to the auditorium.
