Passions Project Nominations

Alameda Connects Logo

The Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District and the Village at Belmar are proud to co-sponsor The Passions Project Lakewood: Redefining Aging, a celebration of the beauty and vitality of local residents who are living life to its fullest no matter their age.

Highlighting two of its core values, Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District has partnered with Heidi Wagner, founder of The Passions Project, to initiate this innovative project to promote inclusion, collaboration and cultivation of Lakewood’s pride, history and identify.

Wagner, a respected photographer, will photograph the unique passions of Lakewood seniors that dispel the myth of ageism and promote these individuals – and seniors in general – in a positive and compelling manner.

Nominations are being accepted now, and a selection committee, compromised of respected local individuals, will weigh the options to select 20 local candidates for this portrait series. Look for the finished results exhibited around Metro Denver and, of course in Lakewood.
