Student Life

Student life to many means athletics.  Brady does not have a traditional athletics program but student life can still be vibrant and engaging.

Students can use Brady’s gym to stay active and healthy, and may even form informal workout groups or participate in fitness challenges. The gym can also serve as a space for students to socialize and build relationships outside of the classroom.

While there may not be organized sports teams, students can still participate in recreational activities such as pickup basketball games, ping-pong games, foosball matches, air hockey games, or work out on the aerobic exercise machines.

Additionally, more diverse extracurricular activities can be formed each year depending on student interests.  These could be things such as music, art, or greenhouse clubs which can also further enrich the student experience.

Overall, student life at BXHS is fulfilling and well-rounded, even without a traditional athletics program.  Our students often participate in formal athletics at their neighborhood schools if those schools allow this.  Students need to keep their eligibility up at Brady and check with their neighborhood school for more information about being able to participate.
