Welcoming Tamsen Stokes! - Brady High School’s New Incoming Principal
I am Tamsen Stokes, the incoming principal
of Brady High School for the 2024-25 school
year, and I am really excited to join the Brady
team.
Next year will be my 20th year in Jeffco
where I have been a high school English and
social studies teacher, a dean of students, a
high school assistant principal and middle
school principal. I love being in a school
where everyone feels safe to learn, grow,
and explore the world around them. As
students are looking toward their future
outside of school, I want to make sure they
have every opportunity to understand the
options they have for a future job and career.
On my weekends you can usually find me
hiking, fishing, gardening, or skiing in the
winter. I have a lovely and supportive wife,
three fun and entertaining teenagers, and an
adorable pointer black lab mix named Del
who is scared of water and other dogs but
doesn't flinch around the lawn mower. I look
forward to meeting everyone over the next
few months and I can't wait to see how we
can work together to create a fantastic
school experience for all.
